Carlos Tevez claims he had little hesitation in making the move to West Ham, but concedes he felt let down by
former club Corinthians
"First and foremost West Ham were very interested in our services and made us a firm offer and the chance to play
in the Premier League which were important factors in why we chose to come to West Ham," Tevez said through an interpreter.
"I would like to say thanks to the (Corinthians) fans and if I saw them in the street I would be able to look them
in the eye," he added.
"But, first and foremost, I do feel a little let down by Corinthians. The directors told me that if an offer came in
for the right money that they would be prepared to sell me, but then they turned their back on me. "
"I have left the club with my head held high and I am proud to have played for Corinthians."
